It’s boring, but it’s not hard, and we need to get it done super-swiftly!

We’re expediting your paperwork through the system so you’ll have access to our educational technology. And you need that access to work with us over the summer to set up your class.

Please complete these forms and submit them to the department office (email addresses follow) by Friday, May 14th:

• Request your “CAMS account,” which gives you a QC email address and access to all the educational technology you’ll need to run your class online, among other things. You need to submit it with this letter, with the blanks filled in by you;
• Complete the workload form***
• Complete the CUNYFirst Access form; and
• Complete the personal data form.

You’ll meet Jamie and Kim Smith at the orientation. They hold our department together with skill and really unflagging grace, as you’ll see. They are *the best*.

We’ve been told that every faculty member who’s scheduled to teach in the fall is eligible to take a training course in a digital platform through QC’s Center for Teaching and Learning. They’re paying each of us $500 for the labor of that. We understand that you can take your training course in the last two weeks of May *if* we can get your paperwork processed by then. The sooner, the better! But there will also be another training in July if the paperwork isn’t done by the earlier date.
